The “Borriquita” performs its processional outing on Palm Sunday at 5:00 p.m. from San Sebastian Church and ends at 23:00 hours. The most emblematic places to see
during the journey are: Cristo Street, “Roda Arriba”, the corner of “Los Quinteros” bar, the City Hall Square and the Asunción Church as well as the exit and entrance to its temple. The holders of this brotherhood are Our Lord Jesus Christ in his Entry into Jerusalem and Most Holy Mary of Peace.
The size of Our Sacred Holder is the work of the local painter of religious images Juan Antonio Gonzalez Garcia, better known as Juan Ventura, who trained with the famous master teacher, Francisco Buiza Fernandez. The Image was made in polychrome cedar wood, in 1990, commissioned by our brotherhood. The figure is articulated, so it can be presented both standing and on the back of the colt, always in an attitude of Blessing. The mastery with which Juan Ventura solves his face is reflected in the many readings that have been made based on the analysis of his facial features.
