Every year in the month of January, the Brotherhood of the Holy Burial prepares the contest “Here’s some migas” (“Aquí hay migas”) on the occasion of the celebration of the day of San Sebastian, patron of Lora del Río.
Every year there are thousands of people from Lora and the surrounding villages who can taste an exquisite dish of freshly made “migas” FOR FREE in an atmosphere of conviviality and brotherhood, making this day another party on the local calendar.
For this reason, Renfe and the City Council of Lora del Río maintain a collaboration agreement to facilitate the train assistance of “Cercanías” to “Aquí hay Migas”. The local City Council sponsors two “Cercanías” trains on Line C-1 of Seville, one coming from Utrera in the morning and another one coming back from Lora del Río in the afternoon.
